Available at the ERC

• Job Counseling: A unique partnership with the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR) enables the ERC to staff an in-house Employment Counselor. This person can assist with registration and access to the Workforce Exchange system, job referrals and employer recruitments.
• Resume Service: Resume resources available to create professional looking resumes.
• Job Fairs: Job Fairs are held periodically at DSS which allows a convenient and relaxed way to make multiple employer contacts in one afternoon.
• Job Readiness Training: This week long class is available for selected DSS customers. It offers training in areas such as: interviewing, applications, resumes, job search skills and job etiquette.
• Fax Services: Resumes or job applications can be faxed from our office to potential employers.
• Telephone Bank: Our phones can be used to make local or long distance telephone calls for job inquires or set up interviews.
• Message Center: This service is available for those people who do not have a telephone. Customers can have their job related calls returned to our message center.
• Computer Lab: A computer lab is available for job searches, resume writing or self-paced tutorials on computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access or introduction to computers.
• Copying: Customers are able to copy applications, resumes or any other job related material.
